Get Ready: Mjbizcon Is Almost Here

Halloween is fast approaching, kicking off the holiday season for 2018. It’s hard to believe that the year is quickly coming to an end.

Even harder to comprehend is that 2020 is only 14 months away. To be nearly two decades into the 21st century seems more like a science fiction novel than reality to me during my 34th trip around the sun. As we round out 2018, team Dosatron is looking forward to the biggest and best trade show in the Hydroponics sector: MJBizCon in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Preparation for Upcoming Mjbizcon

It’s my 4th straight year attending, and each year it blows me away at how many people attend this amazing event. Not only is MJBizCon the best event of the year for business professionals to see what equipment and services are going to shape the next 12 months of the industry, it is also the best place in the world to network and catch up with the most influential individuals who make up this exploding sector. Whether you’re a veteran in the grow industry or simply looking to dip a toe in the ever-expanding waters, MJBizCon Las Vegas should top your list for events to attend every year.

Unlike most trade shows, MJBizCon delivers. There is so much to see and do within the Las Vegas Convention Center. The event is not a fly in and out, same day type of event. If you try to pack everything into one day, you will cut yourself short, and become overwhelmed trying to see all of the new products and services available. I suggest you should set aside Wednesday and Thursday, 10 am - 6 pm, November 14 and 15. During this time the display floors are open to walk and talk with exhibitors. And luckily, if those two days aren’t enough for you to pack it all in, the floor is open for a short 10 am - 3 pm wrap up on Friday, which I’ve found is very necessary for any follow-ups.

Finally, to maximize the time and money this show takes to do the right way, make sure to attend as many industry networking events and parties. The after show activities provide an amazing experience to network with industry leaders and peers. Some of the most coveted + beneficial relationships I’ve made in the past five years have come from random and planned meetings after the trade show floor closes. Las Vegas offers a spectacular canvas to maximize any networking you plan to do while at MJBizCon.
