Lela was able to visit the beautiful gardens of ‘Jardin Majorelle’ in Marrakesh, Morocco. This garden was imagined by Jacques Majorelle, a French artist during the 1930s, and opened to the public in 1947. In 1980 it was purchased by Yves Saint-Laurent and Pierre Bergé, so the grounds would not be turned into a hotel complex. Since then, these grounds are home to 300 plant species making it one of the most beautiful gardens in the world. To learn more about Jardin Majorelle click here.
The photo is a collection of rare cactus and tropical plants from all over the world.
