Exciting News . . .

Yesterday, the President signed H.R. 2, the Agriculture Improvement Act, better known as the 2018 Farm Bill, which was long-awaited by the Hemp industry. 

The bill means that effective immediately, hemp is considered a legal agricultural commodity. CBD (hemp-derived cannabidiol) can no longer be mistaken as a controlled substance. And federally regulated institutions such as banks, credit card companies, etc. can now provide economic opportunities to the hemp farmers.

Hemp produces seeds which are nutritious and rich in healthy fats, protein, and various minerals. The seed oil from hemp is used in ink, varnish, paint, and cosmetics. The fibers and stalks of the hemp plant can be found in textiles, paper products, shoes, carpets, animal bedding, and much more.
