Installed on the water network, the DOSATRON uses water pressure as the only driving force. When activated, it sucks in the concentrated product, doses it to the desired percentage, then mixes it with the driving water. The solution is then sent downstream. The dose of product injected is always proportional to the volume of water flowing through the DOSATRON, regardless of variations in flow rate or system pressure.
The dosage is adjusted by matching the top of the adjustment ring to the desired scale on the scale. The amount of product injected is proportional to the amount of water entering the DOSATRON.
This dispenser can be used in a surface industry (II) or mining industry (I), and installed in ATEX zones classified as zone 2 or 22, zone 1 or 21 or zone 0 or 20 (category 1 device). It is suitable for gas or dust (GD) atmospheres.
The use of the D3 series dosers protects against the risks associated with all gases with a Minimum Inflammation Energy greater than 70 μJ (IIB), and at auto ignition temperature from 85°C (T6 T85). Its use also protects against risks related to dust of all sizes (IIIC).
