THE BENEFITS OF USING FOAM

Combating pests and diseases as well as sanitizing.

Before moving the plants in, or during crop rotation, start out right by keeping your grow area clean. Sanitizing and disinfecting helps reduce the risk of indoor plant diseases such as:

  • Powdery Mildew
  • Downy Mildew
  • Gray Mold (Botrytis)
  • Root Rot (Pythium, Fusarium, Rhizoctonia)

Foaming is an efficient way to apply algicides, disinfectants, or hard-surface cleaners which help fight off infestations of:

  • Fungus Gnats
  • Shore Flies
  • Thrips
  • Root Aphids

Understanding the Benefits of Using Foam
Understanding the Benefits of Foam Usage

You can apply foam using a stationary water source or a portable cart. An airless foamer wand, such as the Dilution Solutions wand (part # X400-113), along with a Dosatron, does not require compressed air and it’s designed to optimize the use of the chemical and water to produce just the right amount of foam. As the foam is applied, it stays on longer, increasing chemical contact time and effectiveness, reducing over-application by providing visual assurance of coverage.

The Dilution Solutions Li’l Bud-D cart makes a great portable option. It features polyethylene constructions, 5-gallon bucket with lid, and 10” no flat tires for maximum mobility. Just attach the airless foamer wand to the outlet side of the cart.

Foaming stays in your targeted area increasing contact, saving time, and is more effective than spraying. Leaving your grow area ready for the next crop
