Using Dosatron for potable water in Michigan

Effective Potable Water Solutions with our Products

Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, a National Park in Michigan, needed on-demand, accurate levels of chlorine in their potable water.

Visitors in the park use the water from the water pumping stations to drink, fill bottles, and cook with. It was essential to provide visitors healthy, safe water. Because of this, Pictured Rocks turned to Dosatron and the NSF/ANSI 62 & 372 Certified D14WL Series. Along with being NSF Certified, Dosatron chemical dosing pumps are water-powered, so there is no need for electricity, and they compensate for flow and pressure changes, providing consistent, repeatable results.

During the annual inspection this fall, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore received praise for their water treatment installation and the consistent results. They also were presented with multiple awards for implementing the new potable water program.

"Pictured Rocks has never seen constant residuals like this ever."

Because of the water quality success using the Dosatrons, Pictured Rocks is adding three more water pumping station locations in the Spring.
